The course is divided into six core topics,
Firstly, we will examine the meaning of wellness and explore different influential models designed to give you a better understanding of the components, or dimensions, of wellbeing and how they relate to the workplace.
Secondly we move on to look at how to create healthy habits to assist with instilling behaviour change in the areas of digital detox, sleep and movement. This ensures that adopting the suggestions brings practicality to the learnings and teaches how to incorporate the changes into everyday life.
Next we will introduce self-care and self-compassion through the use of mindfulness, forgiveness and grounding and discuss why they are important in the context of wellbeing. We will explore strategies for developing these capabilities.
Our fourth topic moves on to discuss the nature and development of stress and burnout with its connection to the brain and its impact on our wellbeing. In this section, we will also explore evidence-based stress management techniques, and how they can mitigate the effects of stress and help build resilience.
Our fifth topic takes a dive into employee wellness & mental health, exploring how to set boundaries, negotiate effectively and discover the components of emotional intelligence.
Our final topic introduces the important area of remaining engaged at work and looks at ways and tools to assist you reach optimal happiness in the workplace.
