In this short course, gather the tools to support yourself or others with an eating disorder. You’ll cover six core topics, beginning with an overview before looking in more detail at some of the most common eating disorders. You’ll also consider the social side of eating disorders, unpack stigmas, identify positive and negative influences in society, and learn how and when to seek support.

Eating Disorders Defined Examine the difference between an unhealthy relationship with food or a specific disorder.
Unpacking Eating Disorders Understand psychological, societal, social and biological factors behind eating disorders.
Identification and Treatment Learn to identify the signs that someone is at risk of these complex conditions.
Negative Impacts and Influences Consider body image and other negative influences on disordered eating.
Positive Influences and Support Learn about seeking and accepting support for yourself and helping others recover.
